A reliability without fault A greater comfort and an output increased even under the most difficult conditions of operating: the vehicles of the Trakker range Activates Time and Active Day offer excellence to their owners, namely a modern and functional design, as well as performances and a reliability without fault. The new range is characterized by the restyling external of the cabin and the innovations brought inside this one. The two versions are been driven by engines Cursor 8 and 13 already in conformity with the European standards Euro 5 as regards emissions, very in advance compared to the date of coming into effect of the standard, which was set at 2009. Innovations in the cabin The new cabins of the Trakker range take again the innovations already presented on Stralis Active Time and Active Day: a new grill and a new footboard of access to the cabin confer on the vehicle an aspect completely innovating. A reactualized color range and an instrument panel realized in a material anti-stripes characterize the interior of the vehicles and return Trakker AT and the AD perfectly adapted to work environments in which they usually evolve/move (careers or building sites), while ensuring the driver a comfortable workspace. For Trakker AD we adopted a short cabin with lowered roof of new design, characterized by elements external with the very gravitational design, such as the front grid, the bumper and the headlights. Trakker AT is available also in the version with long cabin, equipped with two types of house - to lowered roof or standard roof - and of one or two berths. Design and personality for the outside of the cabin Personality, force and functionality: here the three elements which characterize the new style of the cabin. Seen of face, new Trakker appears already modern and aggressive, thanks to its new grill and with the new colors of its bumper; in spite of this evolution in the style and the external design, its very marked personality and its very great functionality - two characteristics which made since always the success of Trakker - remain intact. Lines of the cabin, which one can admire in the sight of profile were especially conceived to allow an easy cleaning of the vehicle after long day's works in the careers and on the building sites. All comfort with your service Inside the cabins of Trakker AT and AD, comfort is properly legendary: to quote only one example, the pneumatic suspension associated with the adjustable wheel makes it possible to optimize the position of control, whereas the buttons and the orders are easily accessible. An special attention was also devoted to the style, by the introduction of a certain number of innovations compared to the preceding range: new colors for the instrument panel, which contribute to make the interior more pleasant while facilitating the relaxation; elements corrugated on the instrument panel, which offer a pleasant feeling to the touch; a new design of the wheel, in the center of which is placed, well in sight, the Iveco logo, glossed; a new range of colors for fabrics, to confer a key more refined on the cabin. In addition, the monochromic screen with white retro-lighting, especially studied not to tire the sight of the driver, makes it possible to check in real-time the state of a certain number of parameters of the vehicle: mean velocity with fuel consumption and even the relative data with maintenance of the vehicle. The orders integrated into the wheel contribute to ensure the comfort and the peace of the driver. Dimensions of a success Especially devoted to all those for which the vehicle is before a whole fellow worker, Trakker AT/AD is the fruit of a particularly neat design aiming at answering with professionalism to the requirements of the market. The cabin Active Time is available in two versions of new generation: long with roof lowered and long with standard roof. For Trakker Active Day we adopted a short cabin with lowered roof, equipped with a width of 2.300 Misters. Engines Cursor, power in action The Cursor engines, reliable and powerful, are the true heart of Trakker Active Time and Active Day. Especially conceived to guarantee excellent performances, reduced costs of exploitation and a higher comfort of control, they are available in the versions Cursor 8 310,330 and 360 cv and Cursor 13.410,450 and 500 cv. The solidity of the Cursor engines ensures one lifespan maximum and, therefore, of the reduced expenses of maintenance. Their configuration with 6 cylinders in line, camshaft at the head and back distribution is characterized by an optimal compactness, a reduced component count and, especially, a great rigidity of the structure to which the cast solid cylinder head and the lower line contribute, which joins together into only one composing the seven supports of the driving shaft. Result: less vibrations, less noise and a more fluid operation in any situation for a greater comfort and an increased lifespan of the engine. Each detail of the Cursor engines was studied to ensure an optimal output. The pistons with aluminium head support a fast dissipation of heat, while the barrels with low roughness of the cylinders and the configuration of the segments contribute to reduce friction to the minimum and, grace also to the system of recycling of the oil vapors “blow by”, the consumption of lubricant. These elements are supplemented by a management system of combustion able to ensure, whatever the conditions of operating, a best performance with reduced emissions. The injectors pumps Cursor engines make it possible to obtain pressures of injection to 2000 bars, while the electric drive managed by the case makes it possible to regulate with a very high degree of accuracy the time and the quantity of fuel for each cylinder. Thanks to the four valves per cylinder, the air inlet and the elimination of the gases flarings are extremely effective. In addition, the Cursor engines are distinguished from the others because they adapt to any type of control. Indeed, the maximum value of the couple is already reached with very weak mode (around 1.000 tpm) and is maintained under very different conditions of operating, which facilitates the hill starts with full load, while protecting the clutch and by ensuring a great elasticity, a low noise level, few shiftings of speed, savings in fuel and weak emissions. The engine also reaches its maximum capacity with intermediate modes, which makes it possible to reduce fuel consumption, because it is not necessary to push, systematically, the engine with high modes. Moreover, a mechanical and electronic system with high technological contents, composed of the driving brake Iveco Turbo Brake with turbine with variable geometry, makes these engines a true reference in terms of performances, consumption, costs of maintenance and lifespan. Ergonomics and performances: gear boxes of Trakker The range of gear boxes available on Trakker Activates Time and Active Day was especially conceived according to the type of vehicle chosen, to offer to the customer the solution most adapted to its own professional requirements. The cases speeds available on Trakker AT/AD are of manual type with 9 and 16 reports/ratios and automatic at 12 speeds. Solidity and flexibility In accordance with better Iveco tradition, the solidity and the carrossability of the frames make it possible to work under optimal security conditions. In addition, the reliability of the brake equipped with electronic devices with last generation very useful in the event of urgency, the very great flexibility of the mechanical or pneumatic suspensions and the state-of-the-art technology of the electronic systems make of Trakker a vehicle extraordinarily effective and profitable, able to ensure the best performances on any type of course. Safety in any situation The Trakker range as well offers excellent performances in terms of facility of control as in terms of capacity of braking; thanks to electronic devices able to start in any urgent situation, Trakker is in the forefront on the market for its technology and its active safety. The Cursor engines comprise a driving brake with decompression of series (ITB, Iveco Turbo Brake) which, associated with the turbine with variable geometry, the total effectiveness of braking increases. The force of the driving brake guarantees, therefore, a maximum safety in the descents, while limiting the use of the service brake and by decreasing the wear of the plates and the disc. All the Trakker vehicles are equipped with a management system integrated of all the screw-locking devices present on the vehicle. The vehicles with partial traction are equipped with disc brake before and are controlled in a way electronic by systems ABS (Antilock Braking System, anti-locking), EBL (Electronic Brake forces Limitation) and, upon request, by system ASR (Anti Slipway Regulation, anti-skid). Integrated management allows operation, with specific command logics, various brakes assembled on the vehicle: service brakes and brakes auxiliary (the driving brake and speed reducer ZF Intarder. Under normal conditions of use, the latter are activated in first in order to minimize the wear of the service brakes and to ensure the deceleration of the vehicle in an adequate way according to the circulation terms. |
